The All Progressives Congress Media Network (APCMN) brings to the attention of the general public the ongoing clearance operation by the Uyo Capital City Development Authority (UCCDA). As part of its efforts to enforce urban development regulations, UCCDA has commenced the demolition of illegal structures, shanties, and buildings constructed without requisite approvals.
The Executive Chairman of UCCDA, Hon. Anietie Eka, has reiterated the agency’s commitment to upholding approved building codes and ensuring that all structures in Uyo City conform to standard development guidelines. Any structure erected without prior consultation with, and approval from, the Authority will be demolished.
We urge all residents of Uyo City to comply with the city’s development plan and obtain necessary approvals before constructing any building or structure. Failure to do so will result in demolition and possible prosecution.
The APC Media Network commends the UCCDA for its efforts to sanitize Uyo City and ensure compliance with urban development regulations. We assure the public of our continued support for initiatives that promote orderliness and development in our great city.
The All Progressives Congress Media Network reaffirms its commitment to supporting the APC government in Akwa Ibom State and all its agencies, ministries, and parastatals in driving the Arise Agenda of Pastor Umo Eno’s administration. We believe that the success of initiatives like the UCCDA’s clearance operation is crucial to the overall development of our state, and we will continue to partner with the government to promote orderliness, development, and progress in Akwa Ibom State.
